When we envisioned Cabo Queens, we dreamed of something greater than a fishing tournament. We dreamed of creating a space where women could come together, share experiences, and discover the extraordinary strength that emerges when the ocean brings us together.
What began as a conversation among friends during the Pink Promise Fishing Tournament in Loreto in 2025 soon evolved into a shared vision: to create others opportunities for women in a sport that is deeply woven into the identity and history of Baja California Sur.

Shortly thereafter, we had a pivotal meeting with Clicerio Mercado, General Director of the Bisbee’s Tournaments, followed a few days later by another meeting with Gonzalo Alamea. Together, they generously shared their guidance, experience, and encouragement. Those conversations confirmed that our dream was not only possible—it was worth pursuing.
The rest is history. Today, that idea has become a movement that brings together women from different cities, professions, and backgrounds, all united by one common horizon: the sea of Cabo San Lucas.
This inaugural edition represents far more than a sporting competition. It represents courage. It represents community. It represents friendship. It represents opening new opportunities for women in sportfishing. Above all, it marks the beginning of a new tradition.

To every participant, sponsor, captain, volunteer, collaborator, and partner who believed in this vision from the very beginning, thank you. Thank you for being part of this first chapter.
Welcome to the Cabo Queens Los Cabos Fishing Tournament.
